Our solutions can be personalized with unique Venetian Murrine.
The term Murrina refers to the product of the ancient Venetian glass art, now a UNESCO heritage, consisting of many segments of glass canes expertly manually combined to form a sequence of concentric polychromatic geometric shapes that resemble flowers. Hence, the name Millefiori.
The Mosaics
Friulian mosaics are unique pieces entirely handmade through traditional craftsmanship, with the irregularity guaranteeing the authenticity and uniqueness of the product. With the chisel and marteline (hammer for mosaic), mosaicists manually compose the mosaic. The traditional materials can be natural, such as stones and marbles, or precious glass produced in Venetian artisan furnaces: smalto, a type of non-transparent glass, and gold (a layer of real gold placed between two layers of glass).
